Vacation Swap Explained
| The basic idea of a Vacation Swap is for two pastors (and their families), from two different churches, to swap homes for all or part of their vacation. For international or longer distance swaps requiring air travel, it might be advantageous to swap vehicles as well. Pastors and churches decide together if there is to be any interaction with the congregagtions during the vacation. There might be people in the host congregagtion who would like to be a bit of a tour guide to the visiting pastor (in our location that could mean taking them fishing, horseback riding or quadding). |
